Silenci!

set out with the task to utilize the solid wood furniture production and inhouse skills of the

swedish company de nord, o4i decided to refine the classical stackable wooden chair and

make it into a light, modern and competitive product with added functions and comfort.

silenci brings together two materials in a sensational combo: solid wood frame and a soft

polyurethan back. the flexible rubber-like back gives comfort, and together with an acoustic

sound absorbing class A panel hidden under the seat, noise are reduced to accomodate

public areas where upholstered seating cannot be used such as schools, canteens,

restaurants and bars. the silenci family includes a chair, barstool and a table with various bases.

silenci are currently availible in all black, in natural birch or ash wood with black seat and back.
